Shah Rukh Khan’s impromptu tweet to engage with his 35.7 million followers on the micro-blogging platform set off a barrage of questions.
Previously, in an interview with AIB, Shah Rukh Khan confessed that he has decided to keep mum and be diplomatic because he is often misquoted and misunderstood as a result of which his films and those attached to it suffer.
For the uninitiated, Shah Rukh had talked about social media trolls a couple of years back on his birthday and he faced the ire of a certain political party and trolls on social media.
The user then went on to taunt Shah Rukh saying if he is only confined to makeup and fashion, the superstar's response was class apart.
The Twitter user asked
First, take a look at what the Twitter user asked: "Why don't u react or give ur views on Kashmir riots...Bengal riots..illegal
settlement of Rohingyas, Bangladeshis & Missionary activities of conversions in south India ?? Are u confined only to MAKEUP & Fashion Dress ???"
Shah Rukhs classy response
Now read Shah Rukhs classy response: "I would reply to u but I don’t know if u r appropriately and fashionably dressed for my reply..."
Shah Rukh Khan is definitely a class apart when it comes to sass.
Well, his response once again proves that nobody messes with Shah Rukh Khan.
The "Dilwale" actor's dodge of the question on the unrest in Kashmir, Bengal and the Rohingya refugee crisis was shocking.
On the professional front, the actor will next be seen in the Anand L Rai directorial, titled "Zero."
Ever since the release of its first teaser in December last year, SRK fans cannot wait to see him play a dwarf in the film. "Zero" will also see Shah Rukh star alongside his "Jab Tak Hai Jaan" co-stars Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif.
The film will be releasing around Christmas on December 21, this year. The film is currently in its post-production and boasts of heavy VFX.
